The cutting of the shirt is oversized, it not only allows the shirt to keep the looseness and rebellious visually in oversized design, but also can make you look slimmer and make it look like a classic formal shirt. The expanded bodies create the volume for draping naturally and asymmetrical design visually. Drawstring detail is added to the expanded side too to provide a free decision in styling: you can gather the fabric and tie the webbing on the waist to create a layered shirt with gathering detail, or leave it to make it become an elegant long shirt. The slits on the hem on both sides make reaching the pockets on the pants easier.
The print is a collaboration with famous Taiwan animation “Grand Mother & Her Ghost”, characters from the movie such as Kuro (the cat), Xiaobian (the snake), Apple (the soul of a little girl holding a doll) are used as elements in the print. By paying tribute to the film editing technology “Montage”, characters are combined with handwritten brushstrokes, which can be seen in the local folk beliefs in Taiwan, in a collage method to create a full and colorful print.
