When and where did you first begin?
I started my brand back in 2004 after finishing my first fashion degree and before moving to London to do fashion knitwear. I used to go to school and during the summer i would go back to Norway to sit behind the sewing machine all summer to make my catwalk collections for fashion week.
Where does your design inspiration come from?
I'm an activist and my brand is my voice to speak about my mind on matters that's important to me. I get inspired by politics, music and other creative people.
Describe your brand in 3 words.
Quirky, Fun and Colourful.
What is the most difficult aspect of running your own label?
It's all the work as I run not only this but two different companies on my own its very difficult to be on track with everything. So, I work non-stop.
Which part of the creative process do you enjoy most, and least?
I enjoy where I'm at just now. I have a new fashion week coming up in 12 days and at this stage I know what I want it to be and just let my mind wandering freely and make all kinds of fun things. but it takes a while to get here and that's my least favourite part. the start if a new collection.
Do you have a mentor?
No, never had one.
How long did your latest collection take to create?
I do all the sewing and i spent about 3 months.
What are your future plans?
To make kids wear again too.
Which pieces do you think everyone should have in their wardrobe?
A really fun and creative headband.
What attracted you to The Clothing Lounge?
My wonderful PR team told me and I had a look and loved it.
