The Ananda Tree was founded in late 2015 after Kirsti finished her Open University Degree and was looking to put the skills she had learnt into a practical yet creative endeavor. Supported by her daughter Hannela, they founded the venture on the ethos of creating something new and stylish to a market overpopulated with copy-cats and insincere marketing ploys.
Kirsti has designed all the scarves based on her own photographic endeavors: from sharks to burnt woods, florals to leather bound books, the scarves go by curious names such as Archive, Harmony, Copper Frost and are sure to delight when the luxurious satiny feel of the bamboo material is encountered for the first time.
Each piece is made from sustainable bamboo material and is combined with the unique photographic art of Kirsti.
Bamboo has amazing natural qualities which make it an excellent choice for our scarves
